The garden is laid mainly to lawn and wraps around the house to three sides, whilst the covered veranda can be used for shade or shelter. There's a large timber deck for alfresco dining featuring in floor lighting. This can be accessed via double doors from the snug, or from a single door in the dining room.

In the corner outside the kitchen window is a round tiled top table and four chairs in the sunniest part of the garden at breakfast time. Further down the garden there's a large brick-built barbecue and sleeper bench from which spectators can watch the chef in action, or the outside game players entertaining themselves.

To the front side and rear of the house is parking for multiple cars and a turning area. Garden furniture and outside games are provided during spring and summer months the latter of which can be found in the shed where there's an adjacent log store for the log burner in the kitchen to keep things snug in the winter.
